Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard is the first page you see when you log in to Quilt Logger. It gives you a quick snapshot of how your business is doing — how many quilts you have in progress, how much revenue you've tracked, and what's happened recently.
As you add customers, quilts, and invoices, the dashboard fills in with live data from your account.
The Main Stats Cards#
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see a row of cards with key numbers at a glance.
Total Revenue#
Shows the total dollar amount across all your quilts — this is based on the pricing you entered for each quilt, not invoices. It gives you a quick sense of your overall business volume.
Quilts Completed#
The total number of quilts you've marked as Completed or Delivered. This is your lifetime count, not just this month.
Active Quilts#
The number of quilts currently in your system that haven't been delivered yet — this includes quilts with a status of Received, In Progress, or Completed (awaiting pickup).
New Customers#
Shows how many new customers you've added recently. A useful indicator of whether your customer base is growing.
Revenue Chart#
The chart below the stat cards shows your revenue over time. You can change the time range to view different periods:
- This Week
- This Month
- Last 30 Days
- This Year
The bars or line on the chart represent the total value of quilts created during each time period. Use this to spot busy seasons, track growth, or notice slow periods.
Quilt Status Breakdown#
This section shows how your current quilts are distributed across the four statuses:
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Received | Yellow | Logged in, work hasn't started |
| In Progress | Blue | Actively being worked on |
| Completed | Green | Quilting done, awaiting pickup |
| Delivered | Purple | Picked up or delivered to customer |
This is helpful for understanding your current workload at a glance — for example, if many quilts have been in "Received" status for a while, it may be time to start working through the queue.
Recent Activity#
The Recent Activity section shows the latest actions in your account, such as quilts being created, statuses being updated, or customers being added. It's a quick way to see what's been going on without digging through the full Activity Log.

Pending Quilts#
This section lists quilts that are currently in your queue — those marked as Received or In Progress. It's a helpful at-a-glance reminder of what you're currently working on or what's waiting to be started.
Click on any quilt in this list to open its details and make updates.
Completed Quilts#
Below the pending list, you'll find recently completed quilts — those marked as Completed but not yet delivered. These are quilts that are ready for the customer to pick up.
This section helps you keep track of finished work that still needs to go home with its owner.
Tips for Using the Dashboard#
- Check it daily — A quick look in the morning helps you see what's in progress and what's waiting
- Update quilt statuses — The dashboard is only as useful as the data behind it. Keep statuses current as you work
- Watch your plan limits — If you're on the Free or Basic plan, the dashboard will remind you when you're approaching your quilt or customer limits
- Use the revenue chart — Tracking revenue over time can help you plan for slow seasons and know when you're ready to grow
Empty Dashboard?#
If your dashboard looks empty, it just means you haven't added any data yet. Here's what to do:
Once you've done that, your dashboard will start showing real data.
